Lower Island Big Loop

A beautiful loop and rite-of-passage! This 2-Day fully-supported ride will start and finish in the Capital city of Victoria. The 270 km route will take us on a counter-clockwise tour through Duncan, Lake Cowichan, Port Renfrew and Sooke. With a population of less than 200, Port Renfrew is one of Vancouver Island’s hidden gems. This trip offers a rare opportunity to stop and spend some time there.

DATES: May 3-4, 2024

We will depart early in the morning with a good, solid ride up the Malahat or a bucolic ferry crossing to Mill Bay and then on to Lake Cowichan for lunch. Then a remote section of approximately 60 km through tall treed forests to Port Renfrew.
Big group dinner out.

Port Renfrew to Victoria – approximately 110 km.
